After taking a look at the pictures I’m sure you all agree now that such a space could only have been designed by a very creative mind. Well, the reality is that two creative minds had to work together in order to achieve this result. It’s an interior design created by Cheri Messerli and David Rager. They are a graphic designer and respectively a fashion designer/stylist. Of course, from the equation can’t miss their dog Scout that is present everywhere.

Now let’s take a look at the actual house. As you can see, it’s a very cozy and inviting place. It doesn’t seem like a finished design but that’s its beauty. There are plenty of interesting and surprising elements that you can’t stop admiring. Let’s take a look foe example at that lovely origami structure made of a lot of paper cranes. It’s definitely something unique.

Moreover, there’s a very inspiring cluster of paper lanterns that sits above the bed. Everyone could go buy a paper lantern or even make it themselves, but how many of you actually though of creating such a combination? The couple was also very creative when incorporating the storage space in that bookshelf/bed. It’s a great way of saving some space. Overall, the couple has managed to create a unique and very creative space that seems to fit perfect with their needs. They plan to move in LA where I’m sure they’ll create another impressive interior design.

Situated in a building that dates back to 1905, this beautiful apartment is on the 4th out of 5 floors and it’s a 3+1 apartment. It covers 97 sqm and it also includes a 7 sqm balcony on the southwest side. The apartment still has some of the original elements but the kitchen and bathroom have been recently renovated.

Here’s a white box, student grad house that used to look quite depressing and sad until someone decided to give it a makeover. You might think it’s difficult to start such a project on your own, but it’s simpler than it seems. For example, take a look at this living room. It got a brand new look in just two weekends and with no professional help.

When it comes to children, there are so many ideas and so many opinions that it’s hard to make a decision when choosing something as little as a pacifier or as important as a crib. There are a lot of different companies that specialize in this department and that offer furniture especially designed for children. French “Vertbaudet” is only one of them. It’s a very popular name mainly due to the high quality and the original ideas that it offers. Here are some examples of decors you can choose for your little ones.
The name of the company is as playful as the designs it offers and it can basically be translated as “the green donkey”. Here you can find everything you need for your baby, from the moment when the mom patiently awaits for the baby to be born to new-born cloths and accessories and furniture. Here are some examples of interior decors you might find inspiring. There are several furniture collections to choose from. They are all colorful, fun and children-safe.

There are times when there isn’t much you can do about the front façade of the house and you have to use height as an important factor to still manage a spacious outlook. This is what Archimania resorted to do for the orange house located in Memphis in the state of Tennessee. The speculative modern house conductive to urban family living only manages to get the pedestrian and parking in the front due to the space constraints but at the back, the facility does offer a lot more. The two-storey dwelling also gets an interior courtyard (understandably) and a rear pond as well. Other elements include a three-bedroom accommodation. The interior doors and the floors are made of wood and they keep the natural colour, which comes into a very nice contrast with the white walls and the black poles that support the building. It is a modern spacious residence and it has avery simple, yet refined interior design. The back side of the building features a large garage and everything has a natural look.
This beautiful penthouse sits on a 302 sq m floor area and it’s located close to Karlaplan in Stockholm. The interior design is elegant and chic and some elements create a soft contrast between modern and vintage influences. The décor is simple, almost minimalist but the division of the rooms and the furnishing is very functional.

The floor comes from Frigren Jenny and Maria Sahlstrand and it’s very beautiful, creating the perfect contrast between the white walls and ceilings and the colorful furniture. The 5.5 meters high ceiling has some exposed beams kept purely for their looks. The windows are very large and they let plenty of natural light get in. And if you still need more light or fresh air you can always use one of the two terraces situated on the roof of the building. From there you enjoy the surroundings and admire the views over the rooftops and over the trees.
